I am the Granddaughter of Annie Hollinshead (Windsor). My Nan was my best friend. I will never ever forget her. My Nan has visited me 3 times at home when I was going through a bad time and the reason I know this is because I have seen her.
My Nan has four beautiful Great Grandchildren called Bradley, Caitlin, Megan and Bethany, which is to one of her other Granddaughters called Julie.
She has 9 children, one of which is in heaven with her - My Uncle Gerard who I know she is looking after up there, although she is probably shouting at him knowing her.
For My Nana
Rose tinted lips,
green eyes a blaze,
big rosy cheeks, never a hair out of place
Always strong, proud and head held high,
my Nana will always be the apple of my eye.
So kind so loving always a kind
word to say
always fresh and neat never an untidy mess
every thing has got its own special little place

my Nana the best of them all,
I'm so proud to be your granddaughter, you've watched me grow so tall.
So now you can sleep tight now Nana, all nice and warm, enjoy the sunshine and sit by the sea wall,
smell the flowers, watch those birds sore. its time for you to be at peace now Nana until we meet together once more.
